💭 FAQs

What does “State of Health (SoH)” mean?
It’s the battery’s remaining capacity as a percentage of when it was new. Our system reads and decodes the battery data from the battery management system of the vehicle.
How do you calculate the “Real range” figures?
We combine the measured SoH and battery capacity with typical UK driving scenarios (Urban / Mixed / Motorway) and seasonal conditions (summer/winter) to provide practical guidance. Actual range varies with speed, load, temperature and driving style.
What does the Battery status label indicate?
A super simple headline view of the battery’s condition at the time of test, intended to give a quick reference point for the SoH.
What does the Battery warranty section show?
Whether the OEM battery warranty period is active or expired, the original coverage (years/miles) and remaining time & mileage calculated from the vehicle’s data. It’s worth checking the manufacturer’s terms for exact coverage and exclusions.
Can I verify a certificate?
Yes, just scan the QR code on the document to open the secure digital version.
How long does the test take?
Our customers tell us we have the fastest test on the market. It usually takes about a minute from connection to certificate generation (some Tesla models require a little longer).
Does the certificate expire?
It’s a point-in-time snapshot. You can re-test at any time if the vehicle’s usage or conditions change.
Which vehicles are supported?
Most popular EV brands and models. If you’re unsure about a specific model, ask us or check our supported models list.
Can we co-brand the certificate?
Yes. Dealer-branded certificates and embeddable images are available for websites, listings and in-showroom displays.
