Drive Green: Half of all sales, driven by battery health

Drive Green is one of the UK’s first EV specialist retailers, founded by Richard Norris in 2017 and a long-standing champion of battery transparency. Beyond certifying every EV they sell, the two businesses work as research partners publishing data on UK used-EV battery health- with battery checks now central to around half of all Drive Green sales.

The Challenge

Drive Green is one of the UK’s first EV specialist retailers, founded by Richard Norris in 2017.  As one of the earliest and most prominent advocates of electric vehicles in the UK, Richard has been a champion of battery condition transparency for many years.

The Solution

Drive Green certifies all of their EVs with Generational, with battery health front and centre in the sales conversation. Beyond day-to-day battery testing, the two businesses have worked together as research partners, publishing data on UK used-EV battery health and contributing to a wider effort to give consumers transparent, evidence-based information about EV longevity.

The Result

Battery health checks directly attributed to 50% of all sales.
